Stroke & Turn Clinic

6 - 11 years old: 5:00 - 6:00 PM
12 - 18 years old: 6:00 - 7:00 PM

Please come 15 minutes early to register if you're not a PST member.

Cost: $30 per swimmer, $15 for each additional sibling
(Free for Current Penguin Swim Team Members)

Don’t miss this four-day opportunity to learn about the fine points of competitive swimming, and be introduced to the Penguin Swim Team. We will have three stations each day covering different important aspects of competitive swimming.

◊ Monday: freestyle stroke, racing starts, and turns

◊ Tuesday: backstroke, back starts, and back turns

◊ Wednesday: breaststroke, breast starts, and breast turns

◊ Thursday: butterfly stroke, streamlining, fly turns

The Penguin Swim Team is a United States Swimming member swim team offering a high level competitive swimming program to the Nevada County area since 1965.

Our goal with this clinic is to improve the quality of swimming in the foothill area, and to introduce swimmers and families to our year-around program.

Swimmers who participate are under no obligation to join the Penguin Swim Team, but the clinic fee can be applied to the first month’s dues for those who do choose to join the team.
